Dekavva Foundation Launches “Bloom” Campaign to Empower Rural Women
The Dekavva Charitable Foundation is proud to announce the launch of “Bloom,” a social campaign running from March 8 to April 7. Held under the Harehas social-educational program, the campaign is dedicated to supporting and empowering women across rural communities in Armenia.
The campaign’s primary goal is to support and empower women in rural communities by expanding their access to educational, social, and economic resources. Funds raised will be directed toward the development of two of the following three villages — Zar, Vahramaberd, or Tsovak — selected based on a comprehensive needs assessment.
The expected impact is significant: 40–60 women will receive alternative education and gain a competitive edge in the job market; 200–300 family members will unlock new opportunities and build more prosperous lives; 35–40 community projects and businesses will be brought to life, creating new employment opportunities for local residents and setting these communities on a path toward lasting socio-economic growth and sustainability.
“Every contribution matters. If you share our vision for the development of rural communities in Armenia, you are welcome to join the spring “Bloom” campaign. Campaign updates will be published throughout the campaign, and a comprehensive report will be presented upon its completion,” said Adrianna Marutyan, Executive Director of the Dekavva Foundation.
