Financial Literacy at the Republican Center for Children and Youth Tent Camp: Idram & IDBank
This summer, with the support of Idram and IDBank, 200 children of the “Republican Center for Children and Youth” SNCO from Yerevan and different regions of Armenia once again participated in the Children and Youth Sports and Tourism Tent Camp.
From August 11 to 16, the children had the opportunity to combine active recreation with gaining new knowledge. They learned how to navigate challenging terrain, became familiar with the basics of first aid, while one of the camp days was dedicated to financial literacy. Together with Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of Communications and CSR Programs Department at Idram and IDBank, the children discussed the key principles of proper financial management, cashless payments, and financial security.
For the second consecutive year, Idram and IDBank have financed the camp as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility programs. Developing financial and digital literacy among children is one of the key areas of the companies’ social responsibility.
The “Financially Literate with Idram & IDBank” campaign, implemented across various educational institutions and camps, continues to help children acquire essential financial knowledge and skills from an early age that they can apply in their everyday lives.
IDRAM AND IDBANK ARE SUPERVISED BY THE CENTRAL BANK OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA.
