Grant Akopian has been elected to the AmCham Board
Grant Akopian, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Converse Bank CJSC was elected as the AmCham Board member on April 29.
The voting took place at the AmCham Armenia Annual General Meeting, where the past-year business results were finalized alongside with setting up new goals and upcoming strategic directions of the organization.
Grant Akopian stated on this occasion, “The private sector is the key engine of investment, employment, innovation, and long-term economic resilience in Armenia.
In banking, being in constant communication with businesses we form a clear understanding of the real challenges they face – access to capital, regulatory friction, execution challenges, uncertainty, and the need for a more responsive business environment.
And I believe that my membership will bring a pragmatic and constructive voice, focused on strengthening AmCham’s role as a serious pro-business platform and an effective advocate for its members”.
