Ameriabank Recognized as Best GTFP Issuing Bank in the Caucasus Region by IFC
Ameriabank has been recognized as the Best Global Trade Finance Program (GTFP) Issuing Bank in the Caucasus region at the 2026 International Finance Corporation (IFC) Awards Ceremony.
The ceremony, which aimed to honor the top-performing trade and supply chain finance partners of the past year, marked the culmination of IFC’s 9th Global Trade Partners Meeting held in Lisbon, Portugal. The event brought together over 400 delegates from more than 50 countries in Lisbon for three days of thought leadership, networking, and celebration.
The GTFP is IFC’s flagship trade finance program, having supported 200,000 firms with $130 billion in trade finance over the past two decades. It enables local financial institutions in emerging markets to broaden their access to finance and reduce cash collateral requirements by partnering with major international banks.
