Artsakh Union Establishes Information Database for Artsakh Businesses
The Artsakh Union, co-funded by the Izmirlian Foundation, has established an information database for displaced entrepreneurs from Artsakh. In addition to developing business capacities, the project aims to increase the visibility of Artsakh businesses and promote their economic development.
Within the framework of the project, as additional practical support, the Artsakh Union funded the participation of seven beneficiary small enterprises in the “We Exist” educational and cultural event held on January 18. Thanks to the provided booths, the entrepreneurs had the opportunity to present their products and establish new business connections.
Participating entrepreneur Srbuhi Vanyan, emphasizing the role of such platforms, noted: “For us small producers, this was a wonderful opportunity to bring our products to the buyer. For many newly established businesses, such exhibitions are often inaccessible due to high booth rental fees. Providing a free booth allowed us not only to generate income but also to find new partners and analyze prospects for development.”
The comprehensive database being formed will serve as the primary platform through which Artsakh entrepreneurs will regularly receive information regarding:
-
Support programs from donor organizations;
-
Professional training and course opportunities;
-
Invitations to participate in local and international exhibitions.
