Ucom Fellowship Incubation Program Participants Visit Ucom
Participants of the Ucom Fellowship incubation program, organized for the second consecutive year by Impact Hub Yerevan with the support of Ucom, visited Ucom’s office, where they met with the company’s General Director, Ralph Yirikian.
During the discussion on Effective Management and Leadership, Mr. Yirikian presented his management principles shaped over decades of experience, shared insightful stories, and answered participants’ questions.
The visit took place within the framework of the one-year Ucom Fellowship program. Throughout the program, individual training sessions and mentoring meetings have been organized, and opportunities for establishing various collaborations have been created. The goal of this transformational program is to support a new generation of green innovators in Armenia — entrepreneurs developing technological solutions for environmental sustainability, including in the fields of green energy, agrotechnology, ecotourism, and the circular economy.
“As a green company, Ucom places great importance on initiatives that contribute to environmental protection and sustainable development. We believe that innovative technologies can play a key role in creating green solutions, and we are pleased to support entrepreneurs and innovators whose ideas contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally responsible future for Armenia,” noted Ralph Yirikian, General Director at Ucom.
“For Impact Hub Yerevan, it is crucial to equip our program participants not only with theoretical knowledge but also with real-life experience. This meeting with Ralph Yirikian was an exceptional opportunity for our fellows. Such exchange of experience plays a decisive role in the development of our green innovators, as it helps them envision the growth potential of their startups and transform their ideas into sustainable businesses with large-scale impact,” said Tijay Jeghelian, Program Director at Impact Hub Yerevan.
Ten ideas were selected to participate in the initiative, including Eco Habit, which produces durable carpets made from recycled nylon tights; Bee Green, a producer of reusable beeswax food packaging; SeElabUS, an AI-based learning platform; and other innovative concepts.
At the end of the project, the teams will present the products they have developed during the program, and the best project will receive a financial award to support its implementation.
